Intensions

Now that I have made it through Christmas, I feel like I can finally breathe. I can sit down and start to reset and think about the new year and what it will bring. With our family of five, activities, and our farm life, it seems that we will perpetually be busy. However, I value time spent doing fulfilling activities that better our lives in some way, shape, or form.

I believe in living with intention and taking the time to reflect. Without taking this time, it is easy to go through the motions and have days and even years pass by without really living and doing things that bring you joy. I have realized that waiting for tomorrow leads to a cycle of always talking about the things that you want to do instead of actually doing the things.

I encourage you to take action if you want to take the trips, be healthier, or change your lifestyle, or job. No one is going to do it for you. If you have a vision of the way, you want change to be implemented in your life you will be highly more likely to live it. There are no do-overs. Figure out what is most important and take time to pay attention and cultivate it. Work is always going to be necessary, but you can control your presence in people’s lives and the journeys that you take.
